一叶知秋,片霜进冬。早晨,冬日的暖阳懒懒洋洋地洒下,照耀在教科的操场上。伴着轻快悦耳的出操铃,同学们怀着愉悦的心情,踏入了操场,虽然初冬的微风略带寒冷,但是也抵挡不住同学们的热情,因为我们迎来了万众期盼的读书节。英国作家培根说过:“读书使人成为更完善的人”。11月16日,教科学子及老师们欢聚一堂,在学校科研室主任严婷老师和BC课程部的英语教研组组长Clewer老师的致词下,2020年第七届校园读书节拉开了帷幕。
课本剧 · 比赛
11月25-26号中午,在学校报告厅,初中部和高中部的同学们分别举行了课本剧初赛。每个参赛班级带着自己精心编排过的节目走上了舞台。参赛的同学利用了课间和课余时间认真准备和排练,在舞台上展示了自己的才华。
12月4日,在学校报告厅迎来了决赛。进入决赛的班级来到了现场观摩。看到台上同学们精彩的表现,台下响起了热烈的掌声,都在为他们喝彩。通过自己的努力取得佳绩,参赛的同学们也露出了灿烂的笑容。
沪语童谣 · 比赛
沪语童谣比赛也是读书节的一项重要比赛。11月23日的初赛,每一组选手都带着充分的准备和饱满的热情。初赛在一首首动人的沪语童谣,一张张自信的笑脸中结束。在激烈的选拔后,12月3日迎来了决赛,决赛更激动人心,竞争更激烈,同学们都卯足了劲展示自己沪语表达的能力,在丰富的活动中,同时也让大家感受到了了沪语文化的魅力。
中华成语 · 比赛
12月8日,在学校报告厅进行了中华成语大赛。此次决赛分为难易两种,参赛的两支队伍分别是六年级和八年级代表队。一共进行了三个紧张而又刺激的环节,最后八年级代表队以微弱的优势险胜。一场激烈的追逐也告一段落。成语大赛不仅考验了同学们的成语积累,也同时为自己掌握了解成语知识打下更好的基础。
中华诗词 · 比赛
12月11日,在学校报告厅进行了中华古诗词大赛决赛。此次决赛分有两方参赛小组,一个为国内高中部,一个为BC课程部。由抽签的形式选择进行比赛的先后。一共进行了六个紧张而又激烈比赛的环节,最后高中部以较为明显的优势获胜。

Winter is coming. On a sunny morning, all the JIAOKE students and teachers are meeting on the playground. Accompanied by the relaxing music, there are more and more people on the playground. Every students look very excited. Although the wind blows slightly cold, it can not resist the enthusiasm of the students. That is because the Reading Festival that everyone looks forward is coming. British writer Bacon once said, “Reading makes a perfect man.” On November 16, the 7th Reading Festival of 2020 kicked off with the speech by Ms. Yan Ting, Head of Research and Mr. Clewer, Head of English Department.
On November 10th, the preliminary contest of drama was held. Each of the participating classes took to the stage with their carefully rehearsed performances. Students used their lunch break to rehearse the performance in order to bring a perfect performance.
Finally, on December 4th, the final competition was held in the assembly. All the participators came to watch the performance. When audience saw the their performance, they gave them a warm applause and cheered for them. All the students showed a bright smile when they finished their performance.
The competition of Shanghai nursery rhymes is the important competition of the reading festival. At the preliminary competition on November 23, each group of contestants was fully prepared and full of enthusiasm. The preliminary competition ended in lots of beautiful Shanghai nursery rhymes. After intense selection, the final was finally held on December 3. This was more exciting than the preliminary competition, all the students were full of strength. In the rich activities, we also felt the charm of Shanghai dialect.
On December 8th we held the final of idiom competition in the school hall. The competition was divided into two levels – one for the sixth grade and one for the eighth grade. The opponents would be selected by drawing lots. There were three exciting matches, and the winning groups all won by narrow margins. The idiom competition not only tested the students’ abilities of memorizing the idioms, but also enriched more idioms knowledge for themselves.
On December 11, we held the final of the Chinese ancient poetry competition in the assembly hall. The final had two teams competing – the local curriculum team versus the BC curriculum team. The competition was conducted by drawing lots. This time, there were six intense and fierce competition sections, and the final the local curriculum team won the competition.
