一杯咖啡，一座城市，一份温暖——Shanghai Coffee Hunt咖啡寻味之旅圆满收官

为深化英语实践教学、丰富学生校外文化体验、引导同学们走近城市、感受生活、学会关怀，我校Shanghai Coffee Hunt: A Flavor Journey咖啡探访实践活动圆满落下帷幕。在为期数日的城市探索中，同学们走出校园，漫步上海街头，走进一间间各具特色的咖啡馆，用英文记录、用镜头创作、用心感受，完成了一场集语言运用、文化体验、创意表达与人文关怀于一体的青春成长之旅。

☕ 行走上海街巷，让英语走进生活

本次活动以 “咖啡探访 + 英文实践 + 创意视频” 为核心设计，同学们手持专属英文探访任务单，实地记录咖啡馆信息、点单选择、风味感受与空间氛围。从安静治愈的独立小店，到老上海风情十足的复古空间；从热闹亲切的社区型咖啡，到简约现代的潮流门店，大家在真实场景中观察、聆听、品味，认真记录咖啡师制作过程、背景音乐、城市元素与人文细节。

活动将英语学习从课本与课堂延伸到生活现场，让学生在真实交流中开口表达，在使用中提升语感，真正实现 “在用中学、在学中用”，让语言学习变得生动、自然、有温度。

🎬 创意视频出彩，定格城市温柔

视频创作环节成为本次活动的一大亮点。同学们充分发挥创意，围绕咖啡制作过程、店铺特色角落、城市街景、同伴互动、探店感受等主题精心拍摄、剪辑。大家用流利自然的英语介绍店铺、分享体验，表达清晰、语气自信、内容真诚。

同学们的视频作品整体质量很高，不仅画面稳定、节奏舒适，更重要的是英文表达自然得体、情感真挚，不再是生硬背诵，而是真实的交流与分享。很多作品视角细腻、有故事感，充分展现了青年学生的观察力与创造力。

首先，我感到非常荣幸能够在这次英语vlog创作评比中荣获一等奖。我真诚感谢学校为我们布置了这次富有意义的创作实践作业。这次任务不仅锻炼了我们的英语口语和视频制作能力，也让我们重新发现了城市的独特魅力。同时非常感谢各位老师的悉心指导，正是老师们专业的建议和耐心的帮助，让我们的作品得以完善。

When we first got the English coffee-hunting video assignment, we did not want to make a simple, casual daily vlog. We hoped our video could have our own thoughts, unique style and warm feelings. Instead of choosing popular chain coffee shops, we decided to shoot Shiteng Coffee, a hidden local café in Shanghai.

当初接到这次英语咖啡探店视频作业时，我们一开始就不想做一段普通、流水账式的短视频。我们希望自己的作品有思考、有特色、有温度。所以我们没有选择随处可见的连锁咖啡店，而是特意挑选了上海本土的小众宝藏小店——石藤咖啡。

Shiteng Coffee is very different from modern and fashionable coffee brands. It mixes local Shanghai life and creative coffee culture together. It creates many special and surprising drinks, including curry latte, soy sauce coffee and many other creative flavors. These interesting drinks are not only delicious, but also represent the free, creative and inclusive lifestyle of Shanghai.

石藤咖啡和潮流网红咖啡店完全不同，它把上海本土生活气息和创意咖啡文化结合在了一起。店里创新出了很多新奇特别的饮品，像咖喱拿铁、酱油咖啡这些特色特调，风格独一无二。这些有趣的咖啡不仅口味独特，更代表了上海这座城市包容、创新、接地气的生活气质。

In our shooting process, we spent a lot of time preparing and polishing our work. We discussed the theme many times, rewrote the English script repeatedly, adjusted the shooting angles, arranged scene transitions, and modified the dubbing lines again and again. In order to make our video more authentic and local, we specially interviewed local customers in pure Shanghainese. We wanted to record people’s real feelings and show the warm daily coffee culture of Shanghai. It let our vlog not only be an English assignment, but also a warm story recording the connection between coffee and the city.

在拍摄制作的全过程中，我们投入了很多时间和精力打磨作品。我们多次讨论主题、反复修改英文脚本、调整拍摄角度、规划镜头转场，一遍遍优化配音台词。为了让视频更真实、更有本土味道，我们特意用地道的上海话采访了到店的本地顾客。我们希望记录普通人最真实的感受，展现上海温暖、日常的咖啡烟火文化。这也让我们的作品不再只是一份英语作业，而是一段记录咖啡与城市联结的温暖小故事。（上海话）

：I’m greatly honored to stand here and share the creative story of my award-winning video

：My inspiration stems from ordinary daily life. I headed to this café with my friends in my spare time, wishing to seek gentle and undiscovered beauty in the city.

：I designed a Hong Kong cinematic style opening for the video. All opening scenes were shot naturally on the way to the shop without deliberate arrangement. While walking along the road, I luckily caught sight of a wedding scene. Newlyweds wandered leisurely on the street, bringing warm and lively vitality to the quiet old block. This unexpected lovely moment perfectly presents the simple warmth and happy surprises hidden in daily life.

：Speaking of the most striking feature of this place, the century-old camphor tree is the soul and core of the whole café.

The towering ancient camphor tree breaks through the roof of the three-winged old Shanghai villa, with sprawling branches and dense evergreen foliage forming a huge natural canopy that wraps the whole building in lush shade. The villa’s architectural contours, courtyard layout and outdoor viewing spots all extend around this time-honored tree, and the faint fresh camphor fragrance lingers in the air, weaving a unique harmonious landscape of old architecture and natural vitality exclusive to this store.

：步入咖啡馆，复古港风装潢映入眼帘。柔和暖光搭配复古陈设，营造出松弛惬意的氛围，经典老洋房形制与新潮复古设计相融，舒适又赏心悦目。

：令我印象深刻的是品尝的桂花拿铁，醇厚浓郁的咖啡香气糅合淡淡的桂花香，细腻滋味在舌尖留存，在闲暇时光里带来舒心的放松感。

❤️ 探访公益咖啡馆，传递温暖与尊重

尤为动人的是，部分同学探访了一家特别的公益咖啡馆。这里的服务人员由残障人士组成，他们或许在表达或行动上有所不便，却以极致的专注、认真与温柔对待每一杯咖啡、每一位客人。没有过多话语，却用干净稳定的出品、安静真诚的服务，传递出无声却无比强大的力量。

同学们主动轻声交流、礼貌进行英文采访，用镜头记录下这些温暖而有力量的瞬间。画面安静治愈，英文表达得体尊重，充分展现了我校学子的善意、同理心与人文素养。这些视频不仅是优秀的学生作品，更是一堂生动而深刻的社会关怀实践课。

Dear teachers and classmates:

Hello, everyone! We are thrilled that our short video Coffee Hunting has won the second prize in this competition. We are extremely excited and grateful.

Question 1:what made you choose this disability-themed café?

Answer 1:We found this café because Michel Chen Zhiyu attended two reading events here. At first, we were just surprised and curious — but soon, their bravery and hard work really touched us. These special owners run their small shop by themselves. We were truly moved by their effort and strength. So, as teenagers, we decided to share this warmth and strength and let more people know about it.

Question 2: What was your thinking behind filming?

Answer 2: We just wanted to film them working hard and let more people see how great they are. So we went to the store, checked the place out, and filmed whatever they did naturally, following their pace. We used the camera to show how they work hard and go after their dreams even with disabilities. After the interview and chat, we really learned a lot and felt touched. Even though they have physical difficulties, they’re still optimistic, hardworking, and full of love for life.

Question 3: What did you learn from this social practice?

Answer 3: So this social practice taught us to respect others, be open-minded, think from someone else’s point of view, and really value our happy lives. From now on, we’ll continue to be kind, share warmth, and look for more good stories around us.

Title: Coffee Hunt – A Journey to Starbucks Reserve Roastery

Hello, everyone!

My name is Carol, and I’m from Class 1, Grade 7. Today, I’d like to take you on a coffee hunt — a journey to the famous Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Shanghai.

This Roastery is located on West Nanjing Road.

It is the second largest Starbucks in the world.

It became even more popular after the LV ship opened nearby.

Now it’s a must-go tourist site, especially for foreigners visiting Shanghai.

Inside, there are many choices: different kinds of coffee, fresh bakery, and even souvenirs.

It’s always busy with lots of orders — a truly lively place.

Differen from the other Starbucks in Shanghai, this Roastery roasts coffee beans in the shop, open to observe.

First, they roast coffee beans from all over the world — the ways can be from light to dark.

When the roasted coffee beans turn cold, they use tunnels to move some of the roasted beans to different jars. These beans are ready to serve in the Roastery. And the other beans are packaged for selling.

I tried American, Latte, and Flavored coffee, made from Sun Dried Brazilian Coffee Beans.

Starbucks suggested to using our five senses to feel Aroma, Texture, Color of coffee. Listening to a Brazilian music, I tasted the flavor of coffee. It was not just drinking — it was a full sensory experience.

From this visit,I learned about coffee beans, the roastery, and brewing methods.

I tasted 3 cups of coffee and yummy snacks.

Most importantly, I realized: Coffee is not just a drink — it’s also business and culture.

The story-telling is also a big part of the coffee experience. Every cup has a story behind it.
