为迎接党的二十大胜利召开，引导同学们培养爱国之情、砥砺强国之志、实践报国之行，同时丰富在校期间的精神文化生活，我校初中英语教研组组织同学们在十一假期开展了红色之旅VLOG大赛，同学们纷纷走进红色教育基地开展寻访活动，在追寻红色足迹中感受红色情怀、感悟初心力量，以实际行动践行青春誓言。
十一期间，同学们充分利用上海丰富的红色教育资源，前往中共一大会址、中共二大会址、三山会馆、七号桥碉堡、四行仓库、淞沪抗战纪念馆、黄浦剧场、百代小楼等红色教育基地，通过参观打卡、缅怀英烈等方式，开展了形式多样、内容丰富的寻访活动，用脚步丈量红色足迹、用心灵感受红色洗礼，同时以VLOG形式记录寻访过程、分享心得体会。骄阳似火，抵不过同学们寻访红色足迹的热情，也挡不住他们聆听红色声音的热忱。回望不朽的历史，同学们将红色基因内化于心，展示了新时代好队员的良好风貌。
本次红色之旅VLOG大赛共收到来自初中部作品百余件。在本次活动中，国内初中部英语老师积极组织，积极策划。各年级组的英语老师也利用闲暇时间对学生们进行帮助和指导。本次活动也为同学们提供了一个展现自我的平台，也进一步增强了校园英语学习的浓厚氛围，让他们爱说英语，爱秀英语。同学们也纷纷表示，作为新时代的队员，要铭记历史、继续奋斗，以壮志豪情，继承前辈们的精神，从中汲取前行力量，以奋进之姿开启新征程、书写属于我们的奋斗篇章。

I am really pleased to be presented with this reward. Making a VLOG and visiting Sihang Warehouse is not with the purpose of getting something in return. However, I harvest very much beyond exceptation. Through this activity, I learned a lot about Chinese history, especially about the battle of Sihang Warehouse. The soldiers’ spirit of fighting to the end inspired me. I also gained a lot of experience in making videos.Mostly, it promoted the friendship between me and my partners. I am really appreciate that all the teachers like our VLOG. Following the memories of history, retracing the red footprints of Shanghai, on the 73rd birthday of our motherland, Chen Fanrui, Chen Yiru and me arrived at the Shanghai Sanshan Guild Hall.
It’s not a very popular patriotic education base, but it attracted us deeply.
We not only are amazed by it’s delicate Fujian architecture in the late Qing Dynasty, but also knew about the change and development of Shanghai and the third armed uprising of Shanghai workers in it’s detailed historical materials.
Searching for information, recording the video and doing post production ,Vlog our red tour is the biggest harvest during our trip, tell everyone the red story well in English, make our Vlog more meaningful.
I hope that our Vlog can be seen by more people. Let’s understand the past life in our city, feel the spirit of Shanghai workers’ tenacious struggle, and be more proud of Shanghai’s current development achievements.

I am really honoured to win the third prize of the VLOG competition. As the arrival of the Twentieth Congress, my classmate and I visited the site of the second congress to remember our revolution ancestors. The experience of visiting the site and making the video left a deep impression in my mind. During the trip, I have not only improved my oral English, but also learnt more about our country’s history and the communist party’s history. I realize how hard it is to revolutionize the poor country and sa.ve the people from foreign invaders. I really learn a lot from the process of viewing the VLOG. I think I should work hard in this new era to create a bright future for myself and do contribution to the society and the country.

I am excited that my group won the second prize of the Shanghai Historical places VLOG competition.
At first, we searched for information on the Internet, combined with the video introduction of the No. 7 bridge bunker on the network, historical documents, we wrote our own VLOG script and practiced it online for many times.
In the process of shooting on the spot, we met many unexpected things, for example, I
couldn’t memorize the lines I memorized, I forgot what I was going to say next halfway through talking, laughter, and so on… We fixed these issues with lots of practice and re-recording.
At the end, we made the video together. From this video we learned about the red attractions in Minhang District, exercised the ability of network data search, improved video editing and production capabilities. Our team is more united. The whole shooting and production process is very happy. Review the history of China’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and cherish the peaceful life now.

Not long ago, I participated in the English vlog competition in the school. I am very happy to win the prize and this honor I also thank all English teachers for their encouragement and support. The theme of our English vlog this time is red memory.
My mother and I went to the Huangpu Grand Theater in the center of the city to enjoy the origin of various Chinese films and national anthems since the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The films witnessed the country’s growth step by step, becoming more and more prosperous. My sense of pride came into being. This visit not only learned lot about the history of the motherland, but also felt the strength and prosperity of the motherland .Finally, I would like to thank the teachers and students again for their support which gives me confidence and I will continue to work hard.
